By working on our bodies we also strengthen the mind and because the practice makes us feel better in our body and with ourselves it even improves social skills as it reduces anxiety and insecurity. The value of overcoming adversity cannot be understated, through practicing difficult things we get much closer to reaching our true potential.
Martial Arts for kids is much more than learning how to fight, it’s also a place where kids can socialise and have fun playing games that involve moving the body. Many of the skills that are needed for martial arts are taught through games and fun activities such as playing tag, dodgeball or tug of war.
For Ground Zero it is our goal to create a challenging practice that is fun. Because if it feels like we are playing, learning will come naturally and the learning curve will be steep.
